Statement of Purpose
Mississippi Valley Surgery Center Endoscopy on Utica Ridge Road in Davenport, was established in 2004. This location is dedicated to performing colonoscopy, esophageal endoscopy and other gastrointestinal procedures. Mississippi Valley Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is Medicare certified.
All endoscopy procedures are performed exclusively by our team of board-certified gastroenterologists. Our physicians are supported by a highly trained team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, technicians and support personnel who are dedicated to your comfort and safety. All of the physicians and registered nurses working in our center have received additional training to become certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
At our endoscopy center, we have worked hard to improve the patient experience by making endoscopy procedures both convenient and comfortable while maintaining the highest degrees of quality and safety.
Our patients are often pleasantly surprised by the relative ease of their experience at our center. Compared with the hospital setting, our processes from registration through discharge are both easy and efficient, with the majority of our patients returning home within 1 hour after their procedure.
